The Compassionate Lord

Your sorrow will be turned into joy.
(John 16:20)

Dear Friend! The Lord Jesus Christ is a compassionate and loving person. When He was in this world, multitudes thronged Him everywhere He went. He was moved with compassion. It was this compassion for the needy person that made Him perform a miracle.

The Bible says that when He was on a mountainside, great crowds thronged Him. They brought the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and He healed every one of them. He knew the heart of every man and knew their problems. That’s why the people stayed with Him for three days and three nights even forgetting about food. They knew the Lord would turn their sorrows into joy and that’s why they were at His feet without food. But the Lord grew concerned about them and did not want to send them away hungry. Though His disciples were with Him, they did not have any compassion on the people. The Lord fed the people and healed the sick and delivered them of their problems. He wiped their tears and sent them home happy (Matthew 15:30-36).

The Lord is alive today and is the same forever. Yes, the compassion He had for the people two thousand years ago is the same even today. He knows the problems you go through and will wipe away your tears. Your sorrow will be turned to joy. The Lord came down to earth and sacrificed His life on the cross to turn your sorrows to joy. It is His delight to bless you and exalt you in life.

Dear Friend! You may be suffering in life but the Lord will exalt you very soon. Seek the Lord and holdfast to Him in your troubles and the Lord will lift you up. He will turn your sorrows into joy. The Bible says, “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (1 Peter 5:6). There is a time to be exalted and God has that time in His hands. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, says God has made everything beautiful in its time. So, cheer up! He will exalt you to high positions in your spiritual life, family life, studies, workplace etc. The Lord will wipe away your tears and exalt you in life and you shall be in a blessed state in this month and all through the year.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I praise You that Your love and compassion are the same in this fast and uncertain world. Lord Jesus, the Bible speaks of Your compassion which made You perform miracles in the lives of the people and wiped their tears away. Deliver me from my problems in my life and wipe away my tears. I humble myself before You. Bless me and exalt me in life. Let Your compassion exalt me and keep me in a blessed state in life. Make me a blessing to others and let my life bring glory to You.

Amen.

The Lord Shall Lead You

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
(Psalm 23:1)

Beloved! David was a shepherd boy who trusted in the Lord with all his heart. Psalm 23 in the Bible speaks of his trust and faith in the Lord. He says the Lord would lead him to green pastures and still waters.

In life, we are concerned over many things and we let them rob of our peace and joy. The Bible encourages us to cast our burdens and worries onto the Lord and trust in Him. When we trust in the Lord, He will lead us to green pastures and still waters. The Lord is a Rock, and a Refuge to all those who trust in Him (Psalm 18:2; 2 Samuel 22:3).

A married couple had no children for many years. The wife trusted in the Lord that He would never let her down and patiently waited for His blessings. She had to bear many insulting and humiliating words against her. But, she was firm in faith. She would often visit the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower with her husband and pray for the blessing of a child. God saw how the couple firmly trusted in Him and blessed them with a child. The Lord honoured them before the people who looked down upon them and filled them with joy (Isaiah 61:7).

Beloved! Are you facing dark times in life? Do not be discouraged. Cast all your burdens onto the Lord and trust in Him.

The Lord says, “I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).

The Lord will do a miracle before everybody and make you happy. He will lead you to green pastures and still waters and bless you.

Prayer:

Loving Heavenly Father,

I am concerned with many things in life and anxious about what the future holds for me. Lord, help me to trust in You. Lead me to the green pastures and still waters. Bless and honour me before the world and let them see that those who trust in You will never be put to shame. In Jesus’ name I pray.

Amen.

You Shall Be Satisfied; Message by Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat.
(Psalm 147:14)

Beloved! The Lord takes great delight in making peace within your borders and filling you with the finest wheat.

The Bible says, “He makes peace in your borders, and fills you with the finest wheat” (Psalm 147:14).

The Bible says the Lord blessed the five loaves of bread and two fish and fed five thousand people. As He took the loaves of bread in His hands and gave thanks to God, it increased and He blessed them. Further, it says that they all ate and were filled” (Matthew 14:15-21).

When the blessings of the Lord make you go through this experience of increase, you will surely be filled in your lives. When the Lord blesses you, the anointing of the Lord will descend on you! Then, the river of divine peace will overflow in your life! Along with it, you will also have the experience of increase in your lives.

Jesus Christ was not complacent with the miracle of feeding the five thousand people but told His disciples to gather the fragments that remained. The disciples gathered twelve baskets full of fragments. In addition to the great miracle, each disciple got a basket full of fragments for himself!

Beloved! When you enable people to receive blessings of the Lord, He shall cause your basket to be full of blessings. Your basket shall overflow with blessings. Further, the Lord says, “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river…like a flowing stream” (Isaiah 66:12).

Yes, the Lord Jesus Christ will bless you abundantly and will fill you with peace. He will feed you with the finest wheat and every good thing. You will not lack any good thing but your basket shall overflow with the goodness of the Lord.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I praise You that You are an awesome miracle worker. Lord, I thank and praise You for the promise that You would bless me with peace in my borders and that You would fill me with the finest wheat. Bless my life abundantly. Help me to enable people to taste of Your love and goodness. Bless their lives too with abundance of Your goodness. Let Your unfailing love and mercy follow me all the days of my life. I give You all glory, honour and praise.

Amen.
